The Windmill features 3 beautifully appointed guest bedrooms located within the Inn and 4 delightful Shepherd Huts located in our grounds, each designed to offer our guests the ultimate in relaxation and comfort whilst visiting Whitby and the Yorkshire Coast.

Shepherd Huts
Our hand crafted timber Shepherd Huts have been built within our grounds to offer you an alternative to our B&B experience.
The idea behind the huts is to escape the hustle and bustle of life, get back to the basics of life, but in a more comfortable surrounding than a tent.
Offering a comfortable cosy double bed all made up for your arrival, a heater to keep warm and a sofa for you to relax on our huts are the perfect escape throughout the year.
In the morning, wake up with coffee on the balcony before enjoying a delightful home cooked full Yorkshire breakfast inside the Inn.
The shared shower block just steps away from the huts contains, for your use, a walk in shower, and toilet with washing facilities.

More Information
The Windmill is a dog friendly establishment allowing our four legged friends in the bar and garden areas if on a lead and supervised. We also boast a large beer garden with a children's play area to the rear of the building so are perfect for families looking for somewhere to dine when visiting Whitby. Our bar area has a pool table and dart board which you are more than welcome to use and we also show BT Sports on 2 televisions. Free Wi-Fi is available for all patrons.
Located within the main Inn we have 3 double ensuite letting rooms available all year round on a bed and breakfast basis.
We have also recently added 4 Shepherd Huts to the rear of the property which again are available to stay in all year round on a bed and breakfast basis. The huts have shared shower and toilet facilities and also come with a double sofa bed for up to 2 children at £20 per child per night bed and breakfast.
