A Welcoming Country pub in the Village of Stainsacre, Nr Whitby

The Windmill Inn, Stainsacre is a family run pub in the village of Stainsacre near the popular seaside town of Whitby.

We pride ourselves on serving top quality food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

The bar boasts a large selection of beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks; we also have a minimum of 2 casks ales available at any time.

There is a log burner in the recently modernised bar to give the pub a homely feel.

Our kitchen serves high quality meals, all ingedients are locally sourced wherever possible.

Food is served on lunchtimes Tuesday to Saturday (12pm-2.30pm) and Monday to Saturday evenings (6pm-8.30pm) 

Food is served on a Sunday 12pm-5pm

The Windmill is a dog friendly establishment allowing our four legged friends in the bar and garden areas if on a lead and supervised. We also boast a large beer garden with a children's play area to the rear of the building so are perfect for families looking for somewhere to dine when visiting Whitby. Our bar area has a pool table and dart board which you are more than welcome to use and we also show BT Sports on 2 televisions. Free Wi-Fi is available for all patrons.

Located within the main Inn we have 3 double ensuite letting rooms available all year round on a bed and breakfast basis.

We have also recently added 4 Shepherd Huts to the rear of the property which again are available to stay in all year round on a bed and breakfast basis. The huts have shared shower and toilet facilities and also come with a double sofa bed for up to 2 children at £20 per child per night bed and breakfast.
